Yay! I really loved this one, probably because I am a gigantic sucker for Cary Grant. The love story was the main plot and it was pretty obvious to even the casual viewer that the stuff about the uranium was added as a last minute plot point to break up the love story because if you lift those scenes out, the plot doesn’t change at all. I can understand why they were added though, because this movie without them would be straight up romance.But it is a Hitchcock romance, and that adds a twist to it, the way I see things. The dialogue is sharp and even though it gets kind of sappy at the end, Cary Grant’s delivery of the lines really saves it.
