You never forget your first. This is my first Astaire/Rogers movie. I KNOW it took me 21 years to do it, but now I think I’m in love. I’m only 21, I’ve only been watching movies seriously for 5 or 6 years, but my only thought after watching this was “Man, they don’t make them like this anymore.”And it’s saddening! I had a smile on my face from the onset. I remembered why the call the movies magic sometimes! For me, this is the definition of a “feel good” movie. I forgot my troubles for a bit. There was no thinking involved. There was just laughter and foot tapping and extreme jealousy (man I wish I could dance like that).It was INCREDIBLE, that first dance that Rogers and Astaire share in the park is what fun is made of.
